Dushanbe to Host the First International Tourism Parade — A Landmark Tourism Event for Central Asia

One of the most spectacular highlights of Dushanbe International Tourism Week 2026 will be the First International Tourism Parade, to be held on 26 September 2026 as part of the 3rd Dushanbe International Tourism Exhibition (DITE 2026).

The event will become the first tourism parade of its kind and scale in Central Asia, bringing together representatives of the tourism industry, official national delegations, cultural ensembles and guests from more than 30 countries around the world.

The Tourism Parade will feature a vibrant procession of official delegations and representatives of participating countries dressed in traditional national costumes, accompanied by national flags, cultural and artistic performances, live musical entertainment, and colourful presentations showcasing tourism brands, national traditions and the rich historical and cultural heritage of participating nations.

The Parade will serve as a powerful symbol of friendship among nations, cultural diversity and international cooperation, demonstrating that tourism is one of the most effective instruments for strengthening mutual understanding between peoples and countries.

As a signature event of Dushanbe International Tourism Week, the Tourism Parade is expected to become one of the most anticipated highlights of DITE 2026, attracting tourism professionals, residents of the capital and international visitors alike.

The festive programme will conclude with Dushanbe Travel Megafest—a large-scale celebration of tourism, culture, music, national traditions and hospitality, bringing together participants of the International Tourism Week and visitors to the capital in a vibrant atmosphere of celebration and friendship.

On 26 September 2026, Dushanbe will become the place where tourism extends beyond the exhibition halls and transforms into a truly international celebration open to all residents and visitors of the Republic of Tajikistan.
